About Us
Founded in 1902, Pioneer Hose Company protects
the one square mile that is Brackenridge, Pennsylvania.
Located on the flats near the Allegheny River, there are two buildings. The main building is composed of four bays that house the engine, rehab, and utility truck. It also features a social hall, that is available to rent for events. The back building also features four bays that house the boat, snorkel, and the Region 13 decontamination unit.
Since 1902, Pioneer Hose has seen 21 chiefs. The company currently boasts 32 active members, averaging approximately 10 members per call.
Members meet weekly for training and biweekly for company meetings. Members are able to sit on multiple committees to improve the company and station.
